Think of concerts, or the conventions I go to. The police coordinate with it and you see a dozen or so maybe, but thats it. The event self patrols and police work with them

Many of the protests have magnets form, and I dont see why they wouldnt gladly take police patrol over dozens staring at them waiting to cause trouble.

If people had single payer it would put millions of people to work. People could gamble what they have on business ventures, education, ideas. But every one must save every cent for health care. Millions with no flexibility even with a little bit of money because of health care. Manufacturing has left our shores because we burden employers with health care and millions of hours of paperwork for INSURANCE middle man ….nothing but thugs collecting extortion.

Ignore that in many countries they have public/private systems so that the people who can afford healthcare now can likely still get extra coverage, and those of us who cant afford it can actually get something at all, even if its with a waiting line

We also get it even without a job if we lose ours due to health issues. No loss of home, etc…

Yet one more reason to be in the 99%… You know there is a problem when you can not find a reason to approve of the way the Government is operating. I do not want free Healthcare Insurance, I want all forms of insurance to be illegal. Lack of insurance is not the problem, The Idea of Insurance is the problem.

Just because it’s good, and would be nice to have in one’s life doesn’t make something a right. A means of transportation isn’t a right, food isn’t a right, a perfect marriage isn’t a right. @JackofOneTrade567 Our healthcare is already shit. The mighty U.S. has the one of the highest rates of infant mortality & the lowest life expectancy of any major, western industrialized country . Prior to the 1970′s health insurance companies were not-for-profit. Insurance premiums were low & health care was affordable. After Nixon signed a law to allow health insurance co. to be for profit – that is where most of your money goes now, to shareholders, not health care. Same now for hospitals.
